This is true. And so every time I brush my teeth - morning and evening, I think of that ad. But apparently bleeding gums is all part of pregnancy. Still, I can't help but gasp out loud every time I see blood on my toothbrush and spit out pink foam. At least it doesn't hurt though.
About Me
- zodwakumalo
- Last year I turned the big 3.0 and got married - I thought that was my milestone year. As it turns out, 2009 quickly overshadowed 2008 when my husband and I found out we were pregnant. I'm going to be experiencing everything for the first time as a woman and an expectant mother which is why I'm calling this my year of firsts. I'm senior editor for Marie Claire South Africa.

yep. have come to terms that there are some areas where my body is extremely strong (like my womb for stretching to a phenomenal size and my skin to accomodate all the stretching) and some where it is completely weak. like gums. and teeth (chipped a tooth already - even with calcium supplements)... its really just amazing.
ReplyDeleteI also chipped a tooth! And then my doc put me on calcium tablets... eish! The stretching for me is the most worrying.
